Great American BBQ Showdown

Just saw season 3 was released recently. I watched 3 episodes tonight. My favorite is Gerald from St. Rose. My money is on him to win it all.

I'll have to check this out. Nice to see season 3 came out quick. I was sure they had just canceled it after how long it took to get season 2 after season 1.
Now if we could just get a second season of Chef's Table I'd be set.

I watched season 1 and it was fun but a bit of a mess.

Yes. Same one.
She brings nothing to show and only dumbs it down. They should just let the two judges host the show. They are very knowledgeable and the host ask the dumbest questions.

I disagreed with the judges on the first few rounds so far. Their picks didn’t match with the video they included.
There’s been some shenanigans with some of the things they’ve cooked and the alleged time they were given.

I was meh with season 1, enjoyed the challenges more than the people. Season 2 I enjoyed the people more than the challenges. Hope they dialed in season 3 so both are awesome.

Yes they both of them together made them each look like dummies.
I finished up this season last night. I thoroughly enjoyed this season. I think it was my favorite so far.

I just want someone to renew BBQ Pitmasters. I like the format and I like Myron as host. I've watched all episodes at least 4 or 5 times.

I like her better this season for sure. I actually don't like the white lady judge. She sounds like she has smoked 2 packs of Camel's a day for 20 years straight. She constantly is asking for more salt on every dish and I'm just thinking well maybe if you wouldn't have smoked so much you'd still have some taste buds.
I'm only 3-4 episodes in but overall I don't like the contestants quite as much this season. In the first episode they said they had thousands and thousands of applicants yet they have a Mexican dude who has just been backyard barbequing for 4 years and an Asian dude who owns a Pho restaraunt. I mean just put the best BBQers on there, not just trying to have different nationalities.
All that being said, this is one of the best cooking shows out there
For the most part, all three seasons have had mainly really good cooks. I'm pulling for Gerald from Saint Rose for sure. Rooting hard against the Shatiqua (sp?) that just constantly talks about being boujee. Though she can obviously throw down in the kitchen.

He has a Hogs for the Cause team. He may be at some other events in between now and then.
