When Vance Kissed The Ring

I honestly didn't know that Vance was once a Never Trumper, so I had to do a little research. Sharing for those that didn't know either.

I did not vote for Trump in 2016. I thought he was a fraud. He had been a Democrat his entire life. I voted for the libertarian ticket. I was wrong. You couldn't convince me to vote for anyone else in 2020 or 2024.

FWIW, a lot of people thought it was somewhat of a joke at the start of the nomination process for republicans that Trump was the candidate. But people saw how well he did as president and changed their minds.

Vance seems like an America first populist. This is fine with me. He realized Trump was not dragging us into new wars like the previous 15 years.

the list of people who didnt like trump in 2015, who ended up supporting him is a HUGE list.

Is Vance gong to do his best? Hell yes! Trump can’t run again and knows he is giving a man a shot at succeeding him. Funny they started wrong because Vance and Trump appear to have found some very solid common ground.
Trump can’t fire a VP so it begins, the return of accountability in the Executive Branch. If Trump and Vance diverge on the vision for 2028 it helps neither man to influence our future, if they even care about more than getting elected. Vance doesn’t want to have Al Gore’s track record in elections and I have a feeling Mike Johnson is going to challenge in 2028
