Legitimately curious how many folks watched the show (considering the number of responses and votes on the threads).
Upvote if you watched at least 2 full episodes; downvote if you watched less than that.
Feel free to chime in with caveats (i.e. Watched/read synopsizes instead of giving Disney+ views; relied on this board to get updates on what was occurring; The Drinker told me it was bad so I didn't watch it;...)
Okay, look - I was going to find a critic who did YouTube reviews who had positive things to say about The Acolyte, but I don't know if my YouTube algorithm knows me better than that or what, but after about six pages in and only finding two videos - both from channels with a couple hundred subscribers and each with less than 100 views, I gave up finding a YouTuber with the opposite take so just pretend I found someone who loved it and told you to go watch it or something.

Many people here watched the shows entire run despite Sammy’s efforts at propaganda. Now did we watch it because we enjoyed it? Absolutely not. It’s like how people can’t look away from a car crash. And judging off the Nielsen ratings only people who care enough to post on place like this, are gay privilege activists, degenerate shippers of fictional characters, or Disney simps watched more than 2 episodes

I fast forwarded through the flashback/witch episode so I wouldn't fall asleep again.
In general the lighsaber fights were dope and the force choreography is approaching what could be (The Old Republic cinematic trailers are the high bar to achieve)
Someone in the other thread said scrap anyone involved except the fight choreographer and I agree.

If Disney would have had the balls to show the lesbians making the babies in a full on graphic porn scene with some creativity this show could’ve probably produced a million or so more viewers.
Ofc that would be really hard to edit around in places around the world that do things like hypothetically throw gays off rooftops

Don’t have D+, so I’ve seen zero full episodes of any Disney Star Wars. However, there are plenty of clips and scenes and reviews/synopsis of each episode to be found. The story made zero sense, and the characters were as vapid and ridiculous as were their motivations.
And what was the final rotten tomatoes audience score? 18%? That seems to sync very well with other rating services. The show was trash.

I have never engaged in hate watching. So if I hear a show is going to be lazy and uninspired, I never check it out.
But with that said, I would gladly accept the job of editing the gay witch scene making the babies for the foreign countries. I'll even make the sacrifice of keeping the original hidden so no one else can find it.

Ugly as sin. Which is why I only postulated maybe it adding a million views. Add a few of the “hot chicks from the quad” in their place and it likely becomes the most viewed show on D+

I have it free from Verizon, but I make it a point to pirate everything on there that’s shite. They won’t get my watch for Nielsen. So basically I pirate everything except when my sisters kids want to watch something like Encanto or Inside out. Big fan of the carrot and the stick proposal.

Perhaps ITT I’d agree. The most active posters on TD regarding all things about this show were in the season thread from start to finish. And it was quite a pleasurable experience

Watched it
Wasn’t good but not earth shatteringly awful. It entertained my 5 year old son.
I never saw a single Star Wars film or show until 2020 for reference.
It is funny watching posters like Sammy and Corinthians defend it to the death against posters who haven’t seen a second of it

Almost all posters who are dunking on those two over and over were in the like 3000 post long season thread. I know I was there. Were you because I’ve never even seen your handle before, so I doubt it. Which makes me have low confidence in your last claim.
