My favorite current show is back. It was actually out a day early but officially it’s out today. Will watch tonight

Probably my favorite show right now. Oldman just kills it.

Thanks for the heads up, I've been waiting for this. Wish it was more than 6 episodes long.
I love Lamb...

Did they drop it all or one episode at a time?
Love SH!

They really do a great job churning these out in a timely manner. Oh, and…

Even with closed captioning, I have to rewind a couple of times each episode because Gary Oldman drops so many funny one-liners that I miss a few.
His portrayal of the Jackson Lamb character is brilliant.

I only watched S1. Did they ever defeat the evil nationalists, who were of course secretly nazis?

I love Slow horses. I think it has actually gotten better every season. I wish other series would take notes on how to keep producing new high quality seasons as quick as this series.

Season opener was fantastic. Plot line was a little obvious but ended nicely. Classic Lamb.

95% of the show has been incredible. The last 10% of last season was hot garbage, a true Jackson Lamb wet fart of absurdity left and right.
Excited for this season, though! Love this show!

Spoilers
How was the first episode plot line obvious? My wife and I are confused
Who was in the bathtub?
The only thing that bugs me is the lack of sympathy for their teammates. Those guys are pretty close and when they tell Lamb and others the ____ died nobody cares. Lamb didn’t even flinch. That’s hard to believe

Jackson knew it wasn't River. I knew it wasn't River as soon as they asked Jackson to ID him. The old man blew his fingers off too?
River set Louisa up to think she sent him to this grandfather's house. Just didn't give us enough information to figure out why Lamb wants everyone to think river is dead. Maybe has something to do with the bombings.

The only one who didn't seem upset was Ho, but that's on character.
Dander, Marcus, and Luisa seemed very upset, and Lamb knew/presumed it wasn't actually *****.

Spoilers
The title of the episode (“Identity Theft”). Never showed River’s face at his grandfather’s. The imposter’s voice was similar but different.
I think he took a moment when he got back in the car. Lamb doesn’t want anyone to know how much he cares. He’s always pushing people away to hide that.

Well, it wasn't Lamb. They really like to shine the light on his greasiness

Whoever was following the grandfather. That person's identity and why he was there will be the slow reveal.

Love this show, Oldman is fantastic.
Just read that a sequel to Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy is planned, but LeCarre’s family doesn’t want Oldman to be in it, even though LeCarre loved Oldman’s performance in the original.

I mean, you could kinda tell with them not ever showing the intruder’s face and doing weird cut angles where you can’t get a good look at him. The intruder also said something like “grand papy” or something like that that I immediately was like no f’ing way that’s how River talks to his grandpa.

Being based on a successful series of books probably helps. I think there are eight books and Herron has said there will be two more. There are also a couple of books and novellas set in that same universe, so there should be a good bit more content to come.
