I can’t find the ammo I normally shoot so I thought I’d give these a shot. I can get the 120 grain TTSX almost everywhere. I’ve heard that they group well but I’m curious how they do on deer.

Barnes TTSX are devastating on a deer.

All i use is Barnes. I use the 140 gr but the 120 gr should do fine. The keep about 98% weight retention.

I use Barnes in my 308 and federal fusion in my 7mm -08. Both kill deer. These just happen to shoot well in those guns. I would have no problem shooting Barnes in any that shoots them well. Barnes will gets the job done

Barnes is one of the best bullets around for deer. It's all I use. I load 110gr in my 270 and 139gr in my 7mm Rem mag for deer. Like lightning strikes them.

I get mine from Double Tap Ammo. Group like crazy and deadly on deer.

I agree. Their penetration and retention is amazing, too. I’ve been shooting them for years in a few different calibers.

I've used Barnes TTSX bullets to kill deer in both my 260 Remington and 7-08 Remington XP-100 handguns. In the 260, I've killed 1 deer w/ the 100 gr and 2 deer w/ the 120 gr bullets. I've killed 3 using the 120 gr in the 7-08. Obviously, I like the Barnes TTSX bullets for deer hunting. In fact, when I go hunting tomorrow PM in AR I'll be trying a new bullet in my 7-08, the Barnes 110 gr TTSX. I've heard some folks have accuracy problems w/ Barnes bullets, but they've been fine in my guns. I'd buy them and hunt w/ confidence.
ETA: Add 1 to the TTSX total as I killed a doe yest PM w/ the aforementioned 7-08 and 110 gr bullet.
