Driving down from Shreveport. What time should we arrive in BR for decent parking and where should we try?
Also, it's my GFs first LSU game and I want to show her the tailgating scene. Any advice?

With a 3 game losing streak. All the free lots should have spots. Out by Alex Box or by the Parker Coliseum are probably your two best bets. Depends on where you're looking to tailgate.

If you're headed over the bridge after the game, the river road lots would do, otherwise try over by the cow palace.

you should be able to find free parking fairly close

the turnout will reflect much of the teams effort over the last 3 games

After Saturday's results, Lot 201 should be free.

By UHigh athletic facilities, not a far walk and you’ll walk right by the LSU baseball facilities

With how good vandy is and how bad lsu is, this will be an exciting game… for vandy.

I would be willing to bet that you could find a parking pass for sale pretty cheap.

I’ve parked along Iowa street for $20 mainly because it’s fairly easy getting to I 10 West after the game

You can pay $20 bucks to park along Nicholson drive, or park for free off of River Road by the baseball stadium.

Park north of Highland somewhere. Easier to jump back on the interstate
