2023 RR cost to hide it is $3k. Eta from dealer. Total job with wiring.

Screw that. Any holdback from putting it on at Uhaul or Rack Attack?

Looks like etrailer.com has it for $200 to $800 depending on what model you have, that leaves $2200 to $2800 for labor. Little unrealistic for me

Seems to me, a real “Sports Utility Vehicle(SUV) would have a receiver hitch when it came off the assembly line as standard equipment…

Stop using dealerships. They are rip offs. Herbs or Mike Geralds if around BR. Even Kirks or CSC Customs if you don’t want to get bent over too bad.

Uhaul

Just got an SUV done from there about a month ago. Looks great, and it’s been very sturdy.

They’re also about half the price of local trailer shops and did just as good of a job

Dealership thinks that since you have a Range Rover you won’t notice, and can certainly afford, a couple more inches in your arse.

Dealerships suck

Yeah but it's super important for neighbors to know you'll spend 100k on a SUV that doesn't have a hitch lol.

I just find it funny how much better a sequoia is but people still spend triple for a brand name.

Not my money so to each his own

As a rule, european cars are unreliable junk, they look nice though.

I recently went through this research with my wifes pavement princess SUV, not a RR. I was shocked at the different install options. For my wife's, there was 4 wire visible hitch (<$1k), 7 wire hidden ($1500), and full blown factory spec hidden in bumper $2k+. The factory option included new rear bumper with cover and programming for transmission and suspension leveling. Also note that many new high tech/parking sensor/collision avoidance vehicles have to be programmed to be able to reverse with a trailer.

Ultimately I decided to not install because it was mainly for trailer hitch carrier.

$3k for a RR at dealer doesnt sound bad if it includes a lot of the bells and whistles with programming.

Correct.

Those fancy door handles that come out…..they break all the time.

Helped a neighbor do this last year. It was 3 1/2 hour job and I helped him for about an hour. He has car lift so it was a bit easier.

How often will you be using? This is the key question.

I find it funny people pay more for SUVs instead of minivans when what they really need is a minivan.
