She made a comment early in the interview and you knew she was about to try and go off.
Unfortunately her comedic timing was off and some of her jokes didn’t land like I had hoped they would.

That was an extremely well written comedic piece, but you are right that it didn’t land. At first I was agreeing with you that it was her timing, but later I came to realize that the problem was a lack of an audience. A lot of those jokes were funny, but in the absence of laughter she had to roll right into the next joke, and it came across as desperate.
