One time Gov Andrew Cuomo said something to the effect of “I’m not a pervert, I’m just Italian.”
Pardon My Take is a sports podcast that takes these little tidbits and runs with them.
They had Homa on not long after and it was brought up. Homa, having good sense of sarcastic humor, must’ve insinuated that maybe he’s a pervert too since he’s Italian. It just exploded from there.
Scott Van Pelt got in on it, fans were actively calling him pervert on the golf course.
It got far enough that once Homa started having a good bit of success and getting more of a following, he had to call Pardon My Take hosts and ask they tell the listeners to quit calling him a pervert on the golf course.
