When did it become so popular that damn near every LPGA player wears the white sleeves regardless on temperature?

Have you seen Asian women in the sun in normal activities? They are diligent about skin protection.

I wear sun sleeves.
I am prone to skin cancer so I try not to overexpose.
The elastic sleeve seems to help me with my arms not getting as tired too.

Same type of sleeves that basketball players wear while playing inside?

The basketball sleeves, I believe, is more about sweating.

From another post someone recommended DeSoto Skin Cooler Sleeves. I tried them and they work fantastic compared to FootJoy Sun Sleeves. During the summer time, you keep them wet and they help cool your skin and provides sun protection as well.
