Down to just one Canik (a Whiteout) but I'm really looking forward to laying hands on this one. Caniks are very under rated... but are so very nice!

My post wasn't about where to buy one.... it was about the pistol. But thanks and I'll stick with supporting LGS.

By the time you pay for shipping and the FFL fee, the Academy one is cheaper.

I don't think they are underrated much anymore, but it's nice they have been keeping their prices low and offering so much on their guns. I picked up the TTI combat with the red dot for right at $1000.00. You can't beat that price for all the stuff you get with that gun. It's the nicest shooting striker fired pistol I've ever put my hands on.

The Rival, Rival S, TTI, and the MC9 Prime all have amazing triggers

I love the Canik triggers and they just fit my hand. The MC9 is my EDC and I don’t foresee ever changing that. I bought the SC Elite four years ago but it was too chunky to carry so it’s now in my nightstand. The Rival-S looks great and is the smoothest softest shooting 9mm I’ve ever shot.

I do wish Canik would branch out into other calibers. 45ACP and 10mm would be neat.

Best stock trigger one can buy. All Canik models have smooth triggers though.

Again, I don't believe i asked about WHERE to buy one... but yes, I plan on putting hands on one and checking it out. Sorry if that bothers you.

My range had 3 in stock last week. Feels great in the hand. They didn't have one to shoot. Trigger is as nice as my TTI Combat.

Unfortunately I also fondled a Shadow 2 compact and now I'm not sure I can buy another striker fired pistol.

Back when I bought my first Canik, a TP9 SF, they were underrated AND underpriced. Now I think they're underrated only by people who get hung up on a gun made in Turkey yet sold in the US to compete against their "perfection" Glock. My TP9 SF was a package deal quite similar to the OP, but costs close to half the price a while back. The TP9 SF is my "truck gun." I also have a Canik SC Elite. It's my cc gun in the woods or when I'm driving on a trip. Since the TP9 SF mags can be used in the SC Elite, I basically have 4 mags w/ me on a trip. Canik's are very nice guns.

I've been trying to get rid of a canik rival for a year, no one wants it for 400 bones. Nice trigger but I just don't like the grip angle.

Seems odd..... I've sold two fullsize caniks over the past year or so... one was a SFX Rival w/optic and the other was a SFX Blackout.

I have a full size Shadow 2. Thinking of getting the compact. CZ makes great handguns. The Shadow trigger out the box is amazing.
