Tractor restoration around Cenla

I bought a new tractor last year and need to sell an old Yanmar 1700 (21 hp). I've had it twenty years and it has a little over 200 hours. Its only use was gardening and food plot prep. Very rough little tractor (needs seat and probably a radiator, but has a bulletproof engine.
I don't want to put it on FB Marketplace because I hardly ever get on FB. Is there any place that restores old tractors to resell?

Not in Cenla, but Terry's Tractors in BR buys, fixes, then sells used tractors. You can maybe try him.

You would spend more than it’s worth. Just sell it on FB. A seat and radiator are cheap amd easy to replace. Alot of people pay good money for those tractors.

Yeah I'm not hauling it anywhere. May just put it out by the road with my phone number.

See if the local feed store has a for sale bulletin board

200 hrs?
Wow. 10 hrs a year. Ive had my tractor for less than 4yrs and have almost 300 hrs and I consider that very low.
You fix the radiator and seat, and you can probably recoup your money on it. Tractors are going for a lot right now for some reason. I've seen tractors with smaller engines and more hours go for more than what I paid for mine new.

Around the corner from you in the south end of Indian Creek. You on Coolee?

My brother lived on Coulee for several years. Recently downsized and moved. The two story, sort of cream/yellow colored house close to the entrance going to the conference center.

I had a small very old 21hp kubota that I didn’t need anymore and I figured I would have to give it away. I listed it on craigslist (this is 15 years ago) and got hammered with offers. I would not be surprised if the same happened to you

I’d love a small tractor to work my food plots a few times a year. About 3 acres between 5 plots. But the prices just continue to stay high. It’s ended up being one of those things where I should have just bit the bullet 5 years ago and purchased one

I know him if he was in the Bayou State Squirrel Dog Association. Hope he's doing well.
I live across the railroad tracks in the middle of some very rich folks. I'm the poorest one on that stretch.

You don’t need a tractor restoration unless it is show quality. I believe you should take a weekend to fix the seat and radiator. Then ride around and put it on the bulletin boards at all of the feed stores and co-ops in CenLa. Also, put a classified ad in the market bulletin.
ETA: Do it before gardening season ends. Also, before food plot time.

Yep. That's him. Sold, moved to Pineville only because they couldn't find anything in the FH, WW area. Having a few health problems but, hell he's getting old.
How much you want for the tractor .... as is?

That’s a Japanese market machine if I’m not mistaken. Was it difficult finding parts for regular service and or replacement parts?
