Pentagon Halts Some Weapons Shipments to Ukraine After It’s Revealed Joe Biden Depleted US

The Pentagon is halting some weapons shipments to Ukraine after it was revealed that Joe Biden depleted the US stockpiles.
Politico reported:
The Pentagon has halted shipments of some air defense missiles and other precision munitions to Ukraine due to worries that U.S. weapons stockpiles have fallen too low.
The decision was driven by the Pentagon’s policy chief, Elbridge Colby, and was made after a review of Pentagon munitions stockpiles, leading to concerns that the total number of artillery rounds, air defense missiles and precision munitions was sinking, according to three people familiar with the issue.
The initial decision to withhold some aid promised during the Biden administration came in early June, according to the people, but is only taking effect now as Ukraine is beating back some of the largest Russian barrages of missiles and drones at civilian targets in Kyiv and elsewhere.
Biden sent Ukraine as much money and military aid as possible in his last few weeks in office.

Don't know if it was ever passed or not, but the dims and RINO's were going to add the requirement in somewhere and make it law that Trump couldn't stop it with jumping through a bunch of hoops.

Was trying to gently warn about this for years but shut up when we started beating the war drums against Iran because it’s a genuine national defense issue.
We simply don’t have the munitions to sustain a ground war because of what we’ve given Ukraine, it’s been used against Russia.

Strategic oil reserves have not been refilled. Think we are waiting for the price of oil to come down.

We did promise to guarantee their independence back in the early 90's if they gave up that big stockpile of nuclear weapons they had after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Maybe they should have kept some of those nukes rather than accepting our pledge.

It was probably the smarter idea to not let them have nukes.
