I miss playing State yearly

Sucks we don’t play them again.
Always a good time and we have played them more than anyone else.
Ancient SEC ball there.
Hope we get them next year.

Yeah, plus they are the worst team in the league right now....sure would like to swap them out with OM this year.

We’ll probably get them in ‘26. Great fans in Starkville, they deserve a respectable team at least. The NIL era is doing them no favors.

Imo they should’ve kept the divisions, just realign them:
North:
Georgia
Texas
Kentucky
South Carolina
Tennessee
Oklahoma
Arkansas
Missouri
South:
LSU
Alabama
Auburn
Vanderbilt
Florida
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
Texas A&M
Can still keep some cross division permanent rivals:
LSU vs Arkansas
Alabama vs Tennessee
Texas A&M vs Texas
Florida vs South Carolina
Vanderbilt vs Kentucky
Georgia vs Auburn
Not rivals per say, but:
Ole Miss vs Oklahoma
Mississippi State vs Missouri

Just so we keep Ole Miss, Alabama and Florida as our three regular opponents, but I do miss State and Auburn not on the schedule.
Kentucky. I can't even remember the last time we played them at home. Unfortunately I do remember the beatdown in Lexington 4 years ago-- the game that finally put the skids under Coach O.

State was so terrible back then. I think we blew them out every year Sly Croom coached that team.
