How will they pay for their schools and infrastructure though since they don't have an income tax?

Schools should be privately funded. If they can’t exist without private funds, they don’t deserve to exist.

Homeschooling is the way better option anyway.

That can't be right. Every state has property taxes.

I bet state and local taxes will have to be raised but taxes based on your own consumption are the way to go for everyone

I'd assume they will raise state sales tax

Public education is the primary driver of property taxes, but regardless of money spent, the results don't compare with money spent. I'm fine with local sales tax covering that difference if property taxes can indeed be abolished. It's a shell game with property valuations/exemptions anyway.

I wish property taxes were outlawed around the country. I always thought that a kid inheriting their families property shouldn't have to get rid of it if they don't make enough money to pay property taxes on the land they own. It means that you never "truly" own the land.

For one get rid of all the illegal kids attending public school

Second by getting rid of illegals insurance will come down as well as health insurance costs!

But yeah, start with cleaning up the public high schools
They are massively overcrowded

So you believe that society is better off if the focus of education companies are making a profit or securing private donations?

Schools need to get restructured. Slash the admins. AI can do it.

No state income or property taxes, I'd be willing to go with a 10 percent sales tax on everything, food included. Everyone pays in to the system

This right here. What’s the point in “owning” property?

Consumption tax.

Which gives consumers a little bit of control over how much tax they want to pay.

This should be the way for everyone. Then people might actually watch what they spend money on.

I believe that parents shouldn't work to educate their kids and yours.
