Kool aid needs to just knock it down and not be so selfish on the 1st pick, ball inside the 5 as opposed to close to midfield

We witnessed complimentary football today. IT was a work of art...well, sort of.

DC must’ve made some nice adjustments. It was looking bad in the first quarter.

2nd half was the first time I noticed this season that our defense was actively trying to break up passes and being aggressive. Several times this season, and even in first half yesterday, it seems like we are in zone and just sitting and waiting for the catch to be made and just getting in position so we can make the tackle.
Jonas Sanker seems to be the real deal! To the eye live without keying on him every single play, he seems to be around the ball all the time, hustling, and impacting plays. Would love to see his PFF and a film breakdown focusing on him.
Jordan Howden stepped up and filled in nicely for Justin Reid yesterday. I don't think Reid has been an issue, but I also cannot say how much he has really impacted the opposing offenses this year either.
Quincy Riley also seems to be doing good as he's getting more reps, and honestly maybe just addition by subtraction from moving Isaac Yiadom.
Kool-Aid made some plays in the 2nd half. I know it was not the smart play to catch the 1st INT but that was a hell of a play by him to read that and come all the way across off his assignment. Then the 2nd one was another good athletic play that showed some anticipation and aggression to go after it. Hopefully this is a big shot in the arm for him to boost his confidence going forward. Because in the first half on the 2nd Theo Johnson TD he was playing way too far off the ball on a slow TE (I don't know if that's Kool-Aid or Staley), then stayed flat footed and waited for TE to get on him before he really moved which allowed him be out-physicalled by the bigger TE.
I'm interested to see Chase Young and how he can impact this defense. Chris Rumph is a good backup, but that's just what he is.

He was also being physical in run game and after the catch. Hope he is improving as a player and not just an anomaly for this game because things were going his way.

Knocking it down is the smarter play, but I rather our young guy make the easy play in crunch time then try to make the smarter play and screw it up. In this case that was to intercept it.
Let's get great at the basics before we start getting into the advanced.

He's not turning down his first career interception for better field position. Especially after getting cooked last weekend.
