The guy on guitar looks like the lead singer of Styx and Phil Leotardo had a baby.

I really love good covers of great songs. I think music should be played as you see fit and let the audience decide.

What is funny is all of the people from The State series that appear in the videos.

Good musicians. Love a good cover band, although I like them more when they put their own spin on the cover.

Agreed. That is what our cover band does live. A lot of the songs we do are rocked up a bit from the original and have a heavier feel to them. I have been trying to get our band leaders to put something like this together and make videos of our versions of songs.

I remember we had been playing the song "Here For The Party" by Gretchen Wilson and I was kind of shocked when I went back and listened to her version. We do it as an all out rock song with heavy drive and distortion and heavy drums and the original is really more country and polite sounding. A lot thinner. "Life In The Fast Lane" is the same way, we do it much heavier.
