Anyone ever have this happen? I wasn’t loving the Qi35 and then bam. Hit a tee shot today and it imploded.

No, but I had a stealth 2 face crack. TM replaced it with a Qi10.

They’re very good about that. Local golf shop may be able to assist, if not contact TM customer service directly.

Happened to my Sims 2 Max, unfortunately it was out of warranty. Think TM only covers two years.

That’s just the taylormade experience. It happens to a relatively high number of their drivers every year. They know it and make the warranty pretty easy to redeem a new one.

Yes. They’ve been responsive so far. But have asked for a photo of my name and date with the damaged driver. Which is coming back home on ship sticks from a trip.

They will replace it but it will probably happen again.

The new TM drivers should fix face issues. The new ball is awesome.

Ha. Although I’ve never loved this driver. Need a refresh with driver head / setup.

4D is your answer. There's a reason Rory and Scotty have switched.

Buy Titleist or Ping so this doesn’t happen

I gamed the Nike Vapor Flex for a bit and I sent the resin part flying down range in a warmup session. I vowed never again to spend hundred of dollars on a plastic driver.

Just goes to show you that the power of marketing can convince the masses that something made for pennies on the dollar is better than forged metal.

Switching to TM for 2026. Clubs came a long way and balls are very close to the left dash that I’ve played lately. Maybe better. Haven’t played a full round with them yet.

I just cracked my recently replaced Cobra hybrid during a range session in the literal same exact spot on the face as the original I sent in. Worst feeling ever!

The cold weather certainly doesn't help. Rock-hard range balls combined with a faster swing speed and a couple off center strikes...pain.

Equipment quality seems to be going down these days while the prices keep rising. Golf equipment manufacturers run a total racket.

I’ve never owned a TM driver but have had the fairway woods in my baby steadily since the stealth line came out and have never had an issue. Now I did have a Cobra split just about in half on me. All the carbon they stick in these drivers are just gone be prone to breaking.

I have hit the new Qi4D. And it’s nice and was told the process in which they make the face will strengthen them over previous models. I guess we’ll see

Both should be a tad longer but the key is spin rate with wedges to driver and the disparity of ball flight.

Something like this has happened to every TM driver I have ever had. I bought the Sim 2 from PGA store last year and it happened a few months ago to it. Sent it back to TM, and they sent me a new one. About 2 weeks after getting the new one, another issue popped up. Sent it back to TM and they just replaced it with the Qi35, which I actually really like. If it happens again, I think my experience with TM is done.

Ill be honest, never just give up on a manufacturer. Each year is something new and you never know what company is best that year. TM is really making strides on the the face and durability. We have been testing the 4D on 190-200 MPH ball speeds and the face is holding up well.
