LSU Portal Commit Tracker:
WR Jackson Harris (Hawaii transfer)
HB Raycine Guillory (Utah transfer)
TE Malachi Thomas (Pitt transfer)
WR Tre Brown (Old Dominion transfer)
Leavitt Watch:
Sam Leavitt will be on LSU’s campus today and tomorrow for a visit.
- Phillytiger reiterated he expects LSU to sign Leavitt. Expect a formal announcement tomorrow following the conclusion of his visit.
LSU OC Charlie Weis Jr announced he will not entertain NFL jobs, and will remain with LSU for the forseeable future.
Trinidad Chambliss has agreed to a deal with Ole Miss to return for 2026, pending his waiver request is approved by the NCAA.
Kewan Lacy has agreed to a deal to return to Ole Miss for 2026.

LSU Completed Visit Tracker:
1. Ex-Penn State EDGE Chaz Coleman visited LSU campus on January 3rd.
- Chaz visited Tennessee today. He will also visit Ohio State. If LSU can hold off Ohio State, they will sign Chaz Coleman. Definitely easier said than done considering he’s from Ohio. Keep an eye out for news about his visit to Ohio State.
2. Ex-UC Davis RB Carter Vargas visited LSU campus on January 3rd.
- Carter Vargas will also visit Oregon, Cal, and Michigan State (dates for each still TBA)
3. Ex-Florida WR Eugene “Tre” Wilson is currently visiting LSU.
- He wrapped up his Texas A&M visit yesterday.
4. Ex-Old Dominion WR Tre Brown was on campus visiting LSU yesterday.
- I haven’t heard any scoop on how the visit went yet. Will visit Ohio State Tuesday.
5. Ex-Boise State Safety Ty Benefield was on campus visiting LSU yesterday.
- I haven’t heard any scoop on how the visit went yet but am hoping to be able to provide an update at some point today.

1. Ex-Clemson DL Stephiylan Green will be on campus visiting LSU today wrapping up his visit. (Jan 4-5th)
2. Ex-Kansas State WR Jayce Brown visiting Ole Miss today.
- Was supposed to visit LSU today originally.
3. Ex-UAB WR Iverson Hooks visiting LSU on January 7-8th.
- Iverson Hooks visited Louisville's campus on Saturday.
4. Ex-Elon QB Landen Clark visiting LSU on January 9th.
- Landen Clark visited JMU on Saturday (Jan 3) and will visit Kentucky today. He also has a visit to North Texas on Jan 7th.
5. Ex-Florida DB Jordan Castell will visit LSU on January 8th.
6. Ex-Oklahoma HB Jovantae Barnes will visit LSU. Visit date TBA.
- Jovantae Barnes took a visit to Kentucky yesterday.
- Also planning to take a visit to Arkansas.

We should get clarity today on Chambliss waiver. Ole Piss side believes it will be granted and he will return.

We should go to the mats and make Ole Miss extend themselves to keep him
Make it so they have to bargain bin for skill positions around him next year.

Returning there would be a big risk for him IMO. Bringing him here next year, if other position groups work out (mainly OL), makes us an immediate contender.

A couple OL targets were announced yesterday and are on the Day 3 tracker.
My hope is that we get Leavitt in the fold quickly and start to bring in OL for visits. OL obviously would like to know who they are blocking for.

Brother I am telling you I think our side thought we would be laid back and having Ole Miss players in the portal .
So checking around the Ole Miss NIL folks think they the waiver is granted and that Trinidad will return to them.
This certainly seems likely at this point. With Leavitt visiting us today and WR's as well.

I mean if we were in Ole Miss' spot, we would be overpaying to keep them from taking our players as well. Might as well know this will be their plan from the jump. Lot of other players out there to go after.
