The Cousins/Penix disaster was the dumbest move I've seen in awhile

Why? He’s built a pretty good roster overall. They’re a qb away from actually being pretty good.

I'm fine with bringing him in as an advisor

Didn’t you swear to never watch this team again?

I would bet he’s already back in his old office in New Orleans

They always come back, just to be a bitch and "leave" again. I hate fair weather fans

He was great in his role with our organization with finding FA talent and to be honest, we haven’t hit in FA since he left.

I would welcome him back in his old role with our organization ASAP.

Maybe this will be OP's final last straw to stop watching them, at least until September 2026

I dont know what he actually brought to the table. But, Id prefer young talent from clubs that draft well.

We hit on Chase Young but besides that, I agree with your premise

Bad move, but he also brought in a lot of young talent.

Demario Davis. That’s who he brought to the table.

Fontenot built a good roster in Atlanta. A young, talented one. He just didn’t get the coach or QB right which a lot of GMs don’t. He doesn’t have that issue here

He was very good at his job with the saints and brought him some great FA.
Just because he failed as a GM is dumb to think he’s not a good front office employee. Thats like judging a guy who was a disaster as HC but is still a great OC or DC.

Signing Cousins to huge contract and drafting Penix in Top 10 and rehiring Morris as HC were his bad moves
He did draft pretty dam good other than Penix in Top 10 when he could have waited and he probably would have been available later on
