i think he was released essentially as part of terms of recouping 10 million of his signing bonus or whatever the hell went on.

Can we give LV the rights for Carr and a 5th in exchange for them taking on 1/2 of his dead money. Make it a 3rd if they take the full $36.7M

Makes sense. HE probably gave back the 10 mill to secure his freedom to sign wherever he wanted without the Saints being in a position to negotiate a trade.

I doubt Brady (or Mark Davis for that matter) would be interested.
