Shite popping off in Venezuela right now. This is why we can’t just hold elections now.

Fricking idiots like Jake Tapper think grabbing Maduro somehow just means everything is over and we should hold elections tomorrow. Place is super unstable and is gonna take some serious work to get things straight.
America and Venezuela will both be better off in the long run, but we’re going to need to crack some skulls and get it right.
But “muh democracy” idiots think that people voting is somehow top priority right now as if that will do anything about the actual situation on the ground.

Hey, you guys think Kyiv can hold elections with daily bombings and an enemy army on their territory, I'm sure the Venezuelans can also make it work.

Elections after the 20-26 year old OT 9+s have been granted asylum in the USA.

So just as everyone said when this happened---we are ok being back in the nation-building business?

The only country I give a damn about people voting is this one. Venezuelans voting is irrelevant to the life of 99% of people in this country. If this is about Maduro, get out now, as we already have him. We're $40 trillion in debt and need to clean house here.

Yeah almost like every other time we’ve done a regime change.
That’s why all the idiots on Sunday spiking the football were fools

I don’t have a problem with it in the western hemisphere. Can’t have our enemies, China, Russia, Iran setting up camp in our backyard.

When you're $40 trillion in debt, a country shouldn't be nation building anywhere. This obsession with the Monroe Doctrine ignores the fact that our fiscal irresponsibility has to end in terms of welfare and foreign policy. We cannot afford it.

They already elected a leader in 2024. Why do they need a new election? Let them finally take their rightful position.

Some drones appeared near Miraflores Palace and began firing at them.
Everything indicates that the drones were their own, from the regime itself, and due to the paranoia they handle, everything spiraled out of control.
Huh, panicans here panicked just like the Venezuelans lol

The same people who keep saying muh Monroe doctrine were adamant Jacksonian nationalists in the lead up to the 2016 election.
They pick something dumb to say ever so often

In 1904, the debt adjusted for inflation was $65 billion. Our debt now is 615 times greater than that figure. We cannot build or police the world. The greatest threat to our security isn't a foreign power, it's our debt.
