Maybe those coaches want to try to win a national championship…

Also out of curiosity, what exactly is Ole Miss doing to be petty? Are you just referring to them hiring Frank Wilson?

They can try. There’s no guarantee that they will ever be as close to winning a national championship as they are right now. So you either have:

A) A bunch of coaches that are doing whatever they can to win a national championship, and they will be over to LSU full time the day the season ends.

Or

B) You just hired a bunch of coaches that won’t do whatever they can to win a national championship and will jump ship no matter how close they are to accomplishing that goal.

Option B doesn’t seem great for LSU moving forward.

I’m talking about the coaches and university. The fans can go choke on a dick. They aren’t worth wasting my time on.

You said “I feel like Ole Miss are delusional like the Gumps” referring to the coaches and university?

They're definitely delusional but not like the Gumps. Bama has at least won enough that they have a reason to be delusional. Ole Miss fans are delusional without ever winning anything.

Maybe they love the players and want to see it through and give them the best chance to win.

The former Ole Miss coaches are not coaching Ole Miss to get Ole Miss players. They are doing it to finish the job they started.

It's the right thing to do.

If you've ever spent any real time coaching football, you'd know that coaching football is about developing players in every way. In particular, developing them into men. Teaching them rules, morals, and discipline. The "development of men" is the heart and soul of the focus of all of the best football coaches.

Football has many technical aspects, but a huge part of football success is effort. Effort on every play. Effort in the face of adversity. Effort when it's easier to not give effort.

The best coaches get the most effort from their players because the players know those coaches want what is best for them, and the players respond in kind. The best coaches motivate their players to figuratively run through walls for them and their teammates.

A coach's attempts to develop players into men will be hollow if the coach does not continually display strong moral character, and appearances matter. The former Ole Miss coaches are doing the right thing to finish the job they started.

Kiffin is working on LSU's future full time. He is surrounded by the defensive staff and a host of analysts, scouts, and other front office personnel. There has been no suggestion that the LSU coaches who are currently assisting Ole Miss have been derelict in their duties. Weis went to dinner with Leavitt last night.

Chambliss and Lacy have agents, and I have no doubt that LSU has been in constant contact with those agents. It appears the agents demanded more than LSU was willing to offer. Securing those players' signatures means more to Ole Miss than to LSU. Ole Miss was willing to pay more.

The former Ole Miss coaches are displaying their commitment to the players they coached all season. Abandoning the team just before the most significant games in their careers would be a betrayal of the relationships and shared goals developed over the year. It's important that LSU and these coaches demonstrate that they are morally strong.

I hope LSU continues to allow the former Ole Miss coaches to assist Ole Miss.

So how are Alabama coaches and the university delusional? I hate to break it to you but LSU has some of the most delusional people in all of college football.

If they wanted to do that they shouldn't have signed contracts with LSU. They should have stayed in Oxford

But theyre needed here to recruit the portal. Every second they're in Oxford is another second theyre not here in BR recruiting
