Ole Miss got a pretty damn good OC to come in for next year as well and they have proven to pay a lot in NIL.

Do you know that it is similar money? I have to wonder if Ole Miss is overpaying just to intentionally hurt LSU, even if it is not in the best interest of Ole Miss.

You are 100% correct they are overpaying at every turn in an attempt to spite us. That’s combined with their current success makes them more attractive as a landing spot than it has ever been before and they know that.

I think we need to move in silence the best we can for the remainder of the portal because as soon as we say we are interested in a player he’s on OMs campus for a visit.
Hell if we say we want a garbage man they are going to call the guy and set up a visit and offer him 2 mill for a year to pick up trash on the sidelines.

Word is Ole Miss told Curne he could play tackle. Kiffin wanted him as a guard which is where he should be. Ole miss supposedly should have both guards back next year so it checks out. Unless of course one of those guards or maybe both are coming to LSU.

Ole Miss is a hot team right this second. Kids aren't thinking about the future. Most of them probably haven't even been following the coaching movement. Ole Miss is telling them the offense will stay exactly the same and nothing will change, even if that's not true.

frick if I know. Many of the moves make very little sense to me but we as the public don't have all the information.

You're operating under the assumption that many of these players weren't told to frick off. We had one of the worst offenses in the country and we're putting a new system in. Some of these players weren't wanted back because of their lack of production, some not at the price they were getting paid by the last staff and others won't fit the new system.

These kids are 19 years old. Many of them come from poor homes. You offer them 100K now, they can't even consider 2 - 3 years down the road.
