Iranian Police are now joining sides with the protesters

It's amazes me that what is going on in Iran right now is not all over the news cycle.
According to Tousi TV, the Iranian Police forces are joining with the protesters and more IRGC command centers and bases are being taken over by the citizens.
I wonder when the Ayatollah will flee for Moscow? And if he does, will he actually make it to Russian territory?

This one excites me more than any other drama going on right now. A moderate Iran would be massive for us.

Iranians, as far as the gen populace, are much less radical than their leaders. The young person in Iran knows what the outside world is like due to Twitter and Tik Tok.

LOL, whut? Even before we flooded the third world with equipment in Afghanistan, SA-7s and SA-14s are pretty widespread in the hands of militias, etc. And you know a bunch of the Iranian military is probably "defecting" as we speak.
And the Iranians are so expert they like shooting down civilian 737s, so incompetence is also an option.

Oh, I'm not thinking about the protestors having SAMs, I'm thinking the IDF is the group that will take his aircraft down. I would imagine if Israel believes he is fleeing, they will target that plane immediately and send it crashing into the desert in a pile of flames.

You don't really expect DNCMSM to cover it do you. 40 years ago it would be the leading story on all Network news. Now it's just silence. Very telling.
