That Night when Larry Bird decided to play left-handed against the Blazers

He went for 41 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists
His reasoning, he was saving his right hand for the Lakers, who were the better team. They beat the Lakers 2 nights later at the Forum.
Larry talked mad shite, but he backed it up.

That’s nothing. One night LeBron decided shoot a free throw with his eyes close, and he hit the front of the rim.

yes, he was even dumping in left handed hook shots

He also spray painted his own gate with his left hand

Short range, yes
Mid-long range, he shot righty

Larry Legend. Top five player of all time IMO

There was no other player like him.

He throws lefty and shoots right-handed
So he's obviously ambidextrous

Words cannot express how amazing it was to watch Larry Bird play in the 80s & early 90's. He was that good.
Lakers/Celtics, Jordan/Bulls/Bad Boys. I miss those days of the NBA.

He was wearing them out using his left, most frequently Jerome Kersey.
I think it was McHale on the bench who yelled out, "Hey Jerome...wait til he starts using his right hand"
Bird was and will always be my favorite basketball player.

I've never really had a favorite NBA team but Larry Bird has always been my favorite player.

That night Lebron scored 30/8/8 against the Pels at age 41 was better imo

Lebron decided to play right-handed against NBA players and broke the scoring record.

Le flop will always be a cartoon meme. His legacy is sealed as a selfish lazy front runner. How embarrassing

I'm curious to which hand he shot free throws with that night?
Bird would dominate in today's NBA era.

He did that to try and be like MJ and Kobe. Which he will never be like either. They were straight killers.
