This guy isnt some difference maker, think of him more like a slightly upgraded (little bigger) Ahmad Breaux replacement.
His PFF grade was 64.7 this season, 67.4 as a freshman where he did play a lot.
Breaux graded out 61.6 this season and 63.4 last year.
Biggest issue he had this year which probably affected his grade a lot was he missed 9 of 20 tackles (made 11 tackles, missed 9), which is insanely high for a DT (45% missed tackle rate). Th next highest of any SEC interior Dlineman was 27.8% (who played at least 150 snaps this season). So he clearly has more ability than Breaux probably does as he graded ever so slightly higher with a huge hit to his grade by poor tackling.

this is huge. I do not think the casual fan understand how much help LSU needs in the front 7... need supporting cast especially if weeks ends up being more injury prone than we thought but also depth for rest.. and the DL... a good 2 deep that can get penetration would put this defense to the top.
