It would only be slightly more than symbolic. The Minnesota conviction would still stand.

...and what good would that do? He was convicted mainly on state charges on which a presidential pardon would have no effect.

Yes, but he would still be imprisoned on the state charges. He truly deserves a new trial in Hennepin County and away from the Twin Cities.

Charges should be filed against Michael Byrd for the murder of Ashli Babbit. Should have been done so Jan 20. 2025.
