In previous stops without Kiffin he hasn't been great and Ole Miss fans over the years have opined that they didn't like it when Kiffin was completely hands off in play calling because Weis wasn't as good.

I think this experience on the biggest stage putting a gameplan together by himself and calling an offense without Kiffin around will serve him extremely well and serve LSU extremely well. Against two very good defenses nonetheless.

That was the only part of the game when Ole Miss was successful where I got a little bit happy. Just knowing that we would have an offense next year was fricking glorious. Ole Miss shitting the bed just made it all that much better.

He did too good

He’ll be getting some nice head coach offers next offseason

Agreed but I think it pretty much guarantees we only get him for one year. May be replacing both the OC and DC next offseason.

I don’t believe that Kiffin wasn’t involved.

It certainly helped that Miami safety got ejected and was replaced by a true freshman who hadn’t played. They picked on the replacement after that happened. I believe they had 2 freshman replacements in their secondary in the 2nd half.

Still a great game by Weiss tho, that’s not what I’m saying. I was pissed about the ejection and everyone should be. That was BS.

Hopefully we hold onto him for 2 seasons. That dude has worked his tail off the last few weeks with the back and forth between BR and Oxford/AZ.

I’m so excited. He and Lane created an offense that put up 27 points (400yds) in just 18 min of possession lol they’re going to do big things in BTR.

Golding couldn't outmaneuver a Miami offense that refused to just bully Ole Miss with the run. Miami would have won this game by 3 TD's throwing the ball 5 times.
