Why does every good team that shows up have to be the greatest of all time?

2019 was a different era of CFP… pre portal, pre NIL, pre covid… it’s no longer an apples to apples comparison for any team post covid.

I’ve never seen such derangement syndrome over a national championship team than 2019 LSU’s team.

That was already a long time ago and we’re several major world events past it. Let it go.

the top teams from about 2014-22 are way better than the top teams of this new era. It’s really not even close

Although I do think Indiana is a great team, I don’t think it’s comparable to how good the 2019 team was. You can’t deny that the overall quality of play in college football has significantly deteriorated.

It’s razor thin close one way or the other

LSU had three one possession games

Indiana currently has 3 one possession games

Indiana will have beaten the following final ranking teams (estimated based on some bowls )

2 Miami
3 Oregon
3 Oregon
5 Ohio State
11 bama
19 Iowa
24 Illinois

LSU beat

2-Clemson
4-UGA
6-Florida
7-Oklahoma
8–bama
14-Auburn
25-Texas

LSU beat 7 top ten teams. If Indiana beats Miami, it'll be 6 top ten teams.

In your dreams. LSU went through a much tougher schedule.

Watch Indiana lose to Miami.

Doesn’t matter. We’re talking about one team, one season.

It also was way easier to hoard talent and tip the scales then too and be dominant. And it really isn’t close ….

Miami is gonna have to cut out a ton of penalties to win that game.
