I picked up a couple of dong phuongs for my work in Austin. I am wondering if I should ship them over or can I carry them on the plane?

No issue with taking them on the plane with you. I’ve done it many times.

Carry on is considered food like anything else. Doesn't count as carry on for some carriers (delta fine, united put it in a bag). Gate attendant specific obviously.
To a limit obviously. Think 1 or 2 not 7.

Is that like the clap? Maybe you need some disinfectant.
The plane should be hosed down too.

My favorite was all the trips I took back from Guatemala, when half the people on the plane had bought a big box of Pollo Campero at the airport and were bringing the taste of home back to their relatives and friends in the US.
