If those were the options, I'm taking Clark/Longstreet all day every day and twice on Sundays and never looking back.

Let Lane do his thing and maybe add a 3rd guy possibly from Juco.

There is no way Clark would get 2.5 mill, I doubt he would even get 1 million. If the rumored amount Berry got was around 800k no one from Elon is commanding 1 mill

I am not suggesting that they should, but I surely don't think Leavitt is worth 5 mil, and from what I understand that is the low side of what he is asking. the ? was how would you spend 5 mil.
Maybe the answer is 3 qb's at 1.6667 mil each.... it is just a hypothetical

The QB position will almost always command more. No matter the school or who else at another position got what.

Supply and demand. We have no QBs. The supply is low and other programs also need QBs. That drives up the price for top ones and even those that aren’t top

If Leavitt keeps playing the game, get Lagway and Clark and bet on Lane and company to develop one or both. Then find a developmental option or two to fill out the room.

Lagway is committed to Baylor. Try to help keep Dave’s job

But he may not be signed with the reports of him continuing to take visits. If he isn’t, then a verbal portal commitment doesn’t mean any more than a HS verbal.

Leavitt 3.5-4
Clark 1-1.5
Just in case Leavitt can't get healthy, we'll need a cheap alternative.
