This is not a hard place to be competent at in the big 2 sports and he just completely demoralized both programs.

He hired Jay Johnson. And Mulkey.

Everything else he tried turned to shite.

I was told the chick that left with Tate had more to do with the hiring of Jay Johnson.

People care about the women’s team, in part, because the men’s team sucks so badly.

He was horrible. But what else do you expect from a woke Democrat?

No one cares about college baseball or woman’s basketball in the grand scheme of things. It is what it is

He dismantled the two most important programs, that’s his legacy

Jay wasn’t his pick but for arguments sake, we’ll let him keep that.

Stephanie Rempe who graduated from Arizona and current AD at Nevada (both Jay Johnsons former coaching jobs) had as much or more to do with Johnson hire than Woodward. He signed off on it obviously & hired her as his Assistant AD so he does get credit for that but she orchestrated the majority of it according to most people around the program. Jay credits her in several articles. Woodward was 100% responsible for Mulkey and downfall of every other program due to his handling of NIL stuff early on at LSU. People give him way too much praise on here.

Honestly, you may not but many do. Predict the # of filled seats for the next WBB game at the PMAC.

And I dont give much credit to Woodward for getting Mulkey. She wanted to come here 20 years ago, but we had to hire some old, fat dude to put us back into irrelevantancy.

Johnson was not his first choice. Mulkey wanted to return to BR.

You say that but we have had a hard time competing in basketball for most of the last 30 something years.

His legacy at LSU was always going to hinge on BK. I was devastated when we fired WW, but men’s basketball isn’t the top priority and I understand that. Glad he’s gone if for no other reason than that one.

Overpaid for Kim, didn’t want to hire Jay first.

Failed at every football hire and contract, ran off the best basketball coach and replaced him with McNuggets on a bad contract, had the embarrassing NILSU ad in Times Square.

Scott made bad hires and firing decisions, he bowed to the ncaa while every other program tells them to frick off and he had us three years behind on NIL.

He is a worse ad than alleva or Joe Dean

The NCAA had too much influence on the program due to his father in law.
