I’m okay with the US using its muscle to help the people of Iran. Some things are right.

We have the muscle to end Muslim tyranny over a nation of people who want and deserve freedom.
Sorry, but chalk me up as a person who thinks we CAN be a force for good in the world, and who would like to see the world be a better place.
I don’t agree with endless wars, or murky neocon saber rattling. But I have no problem with us helping the people of Iran.

I'm okay with you being first in line to fight on our behalf

As long as that means no boots on the ground, no peacekeeper troops, and we get paid back for the billions we will inevitably spend, I'm good with it

Sorry, I’m not qualified to fly a stealth bomber, but ya know, the people who signed up for that job probably realized that they were signing up to do bombings?
Y’all act like we’re sending drafted infantry into the desert or something.

And, let’s say, poster is in his 60s thus obviously impractical and unusable for the U.S. military? Not allowed to have an opinion on the matter because he doesn’t and can’t first sign up for the service?
This has always been one of the irrational, and frankly sillier, viewpoints.

I have plenty of extra bedrooms available for persian women

There’s certainly a humanitarian angle to this. I get it’s not easy and always complicated, but I tend to agree with you here.

I think it could be effectively and successfully argued that that very thing is a notable characteristic of a “great” country. Hence, MAGA.

What else does this accomplish:
1. Saves us billions every time a Democrat is in office because they always end them money for whatever reason.
2. Minimizes an enemy hacker towards the US.
3. Stops their nuclear program from within.
4. Cuts off another oil resource from our enemies Russia and China.
5. Cuts off another member of Bricks and stabilizes the strength of the petro dollar.
6. Cuts off funding to other terrorist organizations.

Why are you so interested in getting involved in someone else's internal problems?

USA and Israel are using their covert ops muscle.
And frick no we don’t need boots on the ground.

I find it odd that this board thinks Ukraine "is not our problem", but can't wait for US to get involved in Iran's mess.

Come along, we have a spear & shield ready for you as well
Fortunately there's more to the modern military than front-line infantry

Nor do we need to drop bombs on them either. Mullahs have lost control, let nature take its course, we do not have to insert ourselves.

I can guarantee you the CIA is working like hell to over throw the current regime there. Knocking off the leadership in Iran would be the best thing to happen to the middle east since Moses lead the Israelis out of Egypt.
I'm guessing the best way for that to happen is to turn a few of the top generals in the Iranian guard. Offer them a few million each snd a condo in Miami. That'd do it for me.

The US government sticking its nose in the ME gave us the hostage crisis and 9/11.

Just on guess alone, would you suppose that it’s also perhaps foiled any possible number of similar type events as well? Potentially even more than the number you’ve listed? Again, just on guess alone. Reason being, in many or most such potential instances we would not necessarily know of the matter, for a litany of reasons.
