Science YT Channel claims to have perfectly replicated Coca-Cola recipe

So apparently Coke can't patent their recipe because, they'd have to reveal it in the filings, so they don't.
YT nerd even had his Coca extract (which Coke still uses) seized at customs, so he had to figure out another way, and says he did it.

Keeps in dark bottles for aging the mixture.
The recipe is actually incredibly lengthy, and full of crazy essential oils and acidic compounds and crazy shite such as vinegar, wine tannins, tea tree oil, and others.
Yes, you could make this at home but it's going to cost you probably more than $400 to order everything

okay, but what's the 23 flavors of Dr. Pepper?

Nothingburger. Most of the ingredients and processing has been known forever. The creator of coke had a diary about the ingredients that are used and while it was an early version, the current formula is mostly unchanged.

Obviously it's more expensive, but this stuff is like the Rolls-Royce version of Coca-Cola.

Did they use cocaine? Because if they didn’t put cocaine in it it’s not perfectly replicated.

Which is ironic because regular coke already cost more than an average American beer. I haven’t bought a service station beer in quite a while but last time Cokes, Gatorade, and some water cost more.

The folks who own dialysis clinics hope more Americans make it and drink it.

You can get a case of Coke for 50 cents a can at Costco.
You can’t get beer cheaper than that anywhere.

Only costs $300 to make a 50c can of coke. What a life hack.

He tried to get decocainized coca leaves from the same source Coca Cola uses and they wouldn't sell it. He tried to get it from a sketchy source too, but border patrol seized it. So he turned to chemistry to replicate the base compounds found in Coca Cola and apparently did a very good job of it.

I was making a joke about Pemberton’s original creation/recipe of Coke when he was selling it at his drug store for medicinal purposes and was using cocaine as an ingredient so he could market it as a cure for headaches, fatigue, nausea, etc.

I was surprised they do still use coca leaves for flavoring though, dude found the source where they get decocainized.
