Sorsby didn't officially sign either until days later after his commitment

WWL probably doesn't know the difference between committed and signed.

Players will commit but might take a week or more to finalize contract language before actually signing.

I like WWL but boy have they fallen! If it wasn’t for Bobby Hebert I wouldn’t tune in. They need talent desperately…

Radio?
Hebert and Detillier had an LSU media guest on and as of 15 minutes ago they were saying that it was not quite a 100% done deal.

Based on the timelines of Berry, Moore & Trey'Dez the contract takes about a week after the commitment to execute. Lots of drafting, red lining and legalese needs to be done.

Rockytop Insider report Leavitt looks like he will stick to LSU:

quote:

Tennessee football didn’t back down when it was announced that Arizona State quarterback transfer Sam Leavitt planned to sign with LSU. On Monday afternoon, Matt Zenitz reported that the Vols were still pushing in hopes of remaining in consideration before pen hits paper.
However, this effort appears to have fallen short. On Monday night, Zenitz reported that it is trending toward Leavitt sticking with the pledge to the Tigers and heading to LSU.
