Anyone have experience with getting Entergy to move a pole?

We are nearing the end of a new home build and Entergy recently installed the pole inside our fence line. It is about 1 foot away from where it should be.

The current placement messes up a landscaping plan and fence line.

I've called a dozen times. Entergy has confirmed it's misplaced but they are slowrolling me.

What are the odds this gets moved?

Any chance I can get Entergy credit my bill for renting that square foot from me ?

Contractor and I call almost daily.

UPDATE:

Guys, thank you. I called PSC and received a call yesterday. Entergy called this morning, met me at the house, confirmed the pole was misplaced, and said it would be moved by next Friday.

If you want a response, call the public service commission.

In my job, I called the PSC on them and I had a call within the hour. If you do call the PSC please respond and let me know how it goes.

You will get a response quickly…however, it may not be one you like because they won’t cut you any slack at all.

Power typically puts their poles on the very edge of the public easement. If the pole is inside of your fence, your fence may actually be on public property instead of your property.

What I am trying to say is, choose your battles wisely!

Maybe try calling your City Council person? Might be a waste of time but worth a shot.

Call the news station. That seems to be about the only thing that gets these companies moving.

I did this in Old Metairie and it worked immediately, they have direct contact to the people who will get it done.

I’ve had utility people not give a crap about even LaOneCall until I said hell with ya, I’m calling the PSC. Then they act like we paying them and not like public servants. Game changer.

Get your electrician to call, if they are worth anything they should have a couple numbers they can call.

What's on the other side of the fence?
