If the Apollo landings were fake, explain this...

If NASA didn’t go to the Moon, then how did Pink Floyd know so much about it? The Apollo program "ends" in ’72, and suddenly in ’73, Floyd drops a technical blueprint of the lunar experience. Those tonal qualities and VCS3 synth washes aren't "artistic"—they’re a 1:1 sonic map of the electromagnetic interference you hit while threading the Van Allen radiation belts. While NASA’s primitive computers were supposedly "calculating" trajectories, Roger Waters was busy declassifying telemetry data through heartbeat loops and echo-heavy textures that mimic the exact nervous system fry of cosmic exposure.
And furthermore, just look at the "evidence" on the cover: a prism in a total void. And just like the Apollo photos, there are zero stars in the background. This is because Stanley Kubrick—who was conveniently living in London while Floyd recorded at Abbey Road—knew that painting a consistent star field on a soundstage is a continuity disaster. And if you add in The "Dark Side of the Rainbow" sync with The Wizard of Oz, this just isn't for stoners; it’s a tribute to the "Man Behind the Curtain" directing the greatest hoax in history. When the album ends with "it's all dark," they aren't being poetic, they’re literally telling you the studio lights were turned off.

"There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark."

Not saying the moon landing was fake but it's taking them a long time on trying to figure out how to go back.

I mean the 5th track on the album is called "The Great Gig in the Sky". I mean if that doesn't scream WE FAKED IT what does!?!?

It was most likely Gilmour.

Back up a little bit and settle down. You went too far. You're supposed to be watching The Wizard of Oz while that album is playing, not some documentary on the Apollo Program. (It happens to the best of us at times though, I suppose.)

Jesus, Lonnie!
Lay off the sauce.

You gonna start another "If the Apollo landings were fake..." thread again tomorrow? Just wondering since this is two in two days now.

If you start Dark Side of the Moon when Apollo 11 lifts off, by the time it begins lunar orbit, the album has played about 106 full times. Strangely enough, Breathe (In the Air) is playing right when they pass behind the Moon for the first time, completely out of contact with Earth.
Tell me this wasn't planned!

You don’t have to explain anything.
The moon isn’t real.
