I get everyone likes to bash walker Howard but atleast know the situation.
He was the starter and had significant injury that sidelined him long enough to where when he came back the other qb had done enough to maintain the starting role.

He was cleared for full practice on October 13th. It wasn't season ending.

Right but if you’re from around Lafayette you know he was still not 100% and the other kid had done enough to keep the starting job
I’m not walker howard fan, or of his dad - but it’s constantly being framed like he just went there and rode the bench with no reason at all. I wish him luck but he’s not the qb everyone thought, we can all agree on that

His first drive at Troy was a disaster. Threw a pick six on his first play, got their TE concussed badly (had to remain in Troy), and the Cajuns never recovered despite being competitive with a good team.
Would have been a cool story with him going back home and leading the team to success. That staff remains well in over their heads, however.

I watched a few ULL games and the guy that replaced him was not very good.
But I do love the fact that Ole Miss just needs bodies at this point.
