We went from dire straits to the #1 QB room in the country in a week and I am not sure its close?
2026 - Leavitt / Clark / Longstreet
2027 - Longstreet / Clark
2028 - Longstreet / Pop

Longstreet has 4 years of eligibility. If he pans out, he's here through the 2028 season at least.

If Sam Leavitt plays a 2nd year at lsu, that means the two backups sit another year. What do you think they will do?

Not true. Lol Longstreet would’ve dominated D2 football this year also. Remember Trinidad was the exception to the rule, 99.9% of D2 QBs will never been good enough to lead a sec program to a national championship. Lane knows that so he went and got 2 QBs that were better

Based on what we saw LK do with Chambliss, any one of our 3 QB's could develop to be that good and be our starter next year, imho.
