considering they're the team that basically created the rule, I would say it's a safe bet.

Of course they will. The Rooney’s are some of the most liberal individuals you ever wanna meet. Big Obama supporters. It’s gonna be a DEI higher.

They need to hire an offensive guy and let him choose his DC.

Flores is the new unofficial Rooney Rule checkbox for teams now that Bel flamed out.

Marcus Freeman had a golden ticket to fill that niche but he turned it down.

The best two young candidates are Marcus Freeman, Notre Dame and Jessie Minter, DC, Chargers. Minter knows the division from working with John Harbaugh, formerly of the Ravens.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was on the other night and it had me wondering does she pull for the Steelers or Giants when the play each other?

Hopefully they don't hire a scum dog like Tomlin. Hire someone who isn't impregnating their wife's nurse while the wife has cancer.

The #Steelers have scheduled a head coach interview with former #Cowboys and #Packers head coach Mike McCarthy.

At 62 years old, McCarthy is the oldest candidate the Steelers have looked at thus far. He's also an offensive-minded coach. Two qualities that are direct opposites of what the organization usually looks for in a head coach.

McCarthy is a Greenfield native who began his coaching career at Pitt in 1989.

He spent 13 seasons as Green Bay's HC from 2006-2018 and won Super Bowl 45 over the Steelers. McCarthy went on to coach the Cowboys for five seasons from 2020-2024.

With 18 years of head coaching experience, McCarthy sports a 174-112-2 record in the regular season and an 11-11 record in the playoffs.

Should Mike McCarthy be the Steelers next head coach? ??

Considering the majority of the coaches the Steelers are interviewing are not white, I’d say they’re following their own rule.
