They're saying Iranian airspace is completely shut down save two Chinese jets in the air. Read elsewhere that the Iranians have asked the US not to fly in their airspace without permission.

Chinese aircraft will not be allowed to observe. They might want to get the hell out of there now. Khamanei Airport is now inoperable.

Trump's interventions have been targeted and limited of late, so that's a good sign. But it's also entirely unclear how any reasonable objective could be accomplished in that same fashion here. Just seems like entirely different circumstances.

We don't need to extract anyone or overthrow shite. We just need to give the military incentive to side with the people. I would start going after the generals personal homes. Demoralize them. They want to kill Iranian citizens? Say goodbye to your family, mother fricker.

What's the payoff even if we do bomb? We aren't putting boots on the ground . So we bomb, do some damage, planes leave regime soldiers and RG types wait and go back doing what they do.

Exactly. We are simply removing a burden from the people who want to live live and flourish.
I expect Khamenei will be real stiff by this time tomorrow. A lot of military leadership will be gone as well.

So now WE decide who other countries leaders should be? We should let the Iranians deal with it. They will appreciate it more because in the end we are just looking for revenge. The Iranians want revenge and something different. We couldn't care less what the Iranian people want. We just want some payback, then we leave after laying waste.
Let the Iranians do the dirty work. We don't need to nor are we ready for the aftermath if we do kill the mullahs.
