I think we are a pretty attractive school for a young up and coming coach. Playing in the sec, we throw big money at coaches, and we have relatively low expectations compared to our competition

Don’t need a big time coach just need a good one. Last 3 nattys have been won by up and coming guys. 2 best teams in the country are also coached by up and comers.

You’re talking to people whose interest in basketball is limited to a week or two check-in in January. Thus, they view basketball through a football lens. The sport and marketplace isn’t the same. But that doesn’t stop them from making ridiculous assertions

Hell no. We need an energetic coach who plays an exciting brand of ball. We don't need Tony Bennett and football scores in basketball games.
