It's small town Oklahoma where I'm at.
Infrastructure has always sucked. The worst traffic you'll see is when you seldom actually have to wait for someone in line at the gas pumps.
I'll take my crappy infrastructure and no traffic instead of dealing with the crappy infrastructure and crappy traffic in OKC and Tulsa. I won't even bother listing the hilariously painful things I'd rather endure than to ever drive through Dallas or Houston again. I'd honestly rather drive through Los Angeles traffic again than to try to navigate through all the no-comprende-merging bastards in Dallas.

I feel for you guys. I'm in Texas and our roads are amazing works of art.
I do work in Alexandria, LA frequently. The 165/71 construction is bullshite. I hate it so much and it is taking so long to complete.

When I lived in Dallas I was in awe of the highway system in Texas. Although Dallas had rush hour traffic, I was amazed at how little traffic Dallas had because their highway system is great

Over Christmas I did pass through Baton Rouge with ease.

I have lived in Louisiana for 25yrs. It's been run by republicans for 70% of my time here. Our infrastructure is absolute garbage.

What city do you live in?
I live in a red area and the infrastructure is much better than New Orleans. No republicans in New Orleans.

You have to judge by city. I'm from Shreveport-Bossier. Shreveport is run by Dems. The roads are terrible. Bossier is run by GOP. The roads are excellent.
