Gotta go pick up some lunch now.

Village idiot at work laid a fountain drink on it's side IN the fridge. It leaked all down to the next shelf where my lunch was sitting.

Like this, but on the shelf in the fridge. WTF

Kale & spinach turkey caesar salad with carrots, bell peppers, shrooms, broccoli, red onion, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, green olives, cilantro, feta cheese, blue cheese crumbles, slivered almonds, and croutons...plus water.

Went to a new place that just opened in town, City BBQ (a chain), it was very underwhelming.

Good afternoon, ms, all.

I’m having a bagel with cream cheese and a lime Greek yogurt for lunch.

Taking a break from writing an opposition to a motion that’s due tomorrow. Thought I’d relax and have a few laughs reading the OT before I get back to work.

Be well, all!

P.S. DPH, your gumbo and sides look delicious!

Doubtful. There's a pizza place I order from that makes their caesar dressing from scratch and they definitely use real anchovies.

ETA: You know what, I think it does have anchovies in it because theres little bits of pink stuff (pause) at the bottom of the dressing ramekins now that I look at it.

Yeah, I’ve been really busy with work and “things” since the new year. But I do try to at least read the OT during lunch even if I don’t post. I always laugh about something and that’s good for the heart and soul. “Heart and Soul”? I think that’s a good title for a song.

Back atcha, Captain 7s

ms she is good. I had to get her to the ER last month as she had been having chest pains. They ended up doing an angioplasty with stent emplacement in her circumflex artery on December 11. She’s doing much better now on that front. I had the same stent emplacement in 1997 - who says we weren’t made for each other?!?!

She’s still doing the “non-deadly” chemo for her ovarian cancer. She’s holding her own, but we know that there’s no cure. We’re just very grateful to have one another.

Time for me to get back to work.

Be well, all.

I had a turkey sandwich. Got off lunch early to go co-sign for my oldest to buy a house.
