Charlie Kirk will receive a second posthumous award in the coming weeks, this time from Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed to the Associated Press that Kirk will be honored at the International Conference on Combating Antisemitism. This honor comes four months after Kirk was shot and killed.

Last May, Kirk wrote Netanyahu a seven-page letter expressing concern about prevalent “anti-Israel and anti-Semitic trends” hitting “record levels on social media.”

“Anti-Israel sentiment can undermine American support for Israel,” Kirk wrote. “Everything written here is from a place of deep love for Israel and the Jewish people. I think it’s important to be brutally honest with those you love. In my opinion, Israel is losing the information war and needs a ‘communications intervention.’”

Netanyahu publicly confirmed he received the letter after Kirk was killed in September.

Since Kirk’s assassination, Netanyahu dismissed rumors that Israel was involved. According to the prime minister, the allegations were “insane,” “false,” and “outrageous.”

Charlie Kirk was a giant. A once-in-a-century talent who defended freedom, defended America, defended our common Judeo-Christian civilization,” Netanyahu wrote on X at the time.

How has it been 4 months already?!?!

The two are opposed, not complimentary.

Yea, while it doesn't really piss me off, per si, I do not understand the forcing the square peg in the round hole on this..

Judeo-Christian is not a thing. You're either one or the other. And as a Christian, I cannot align myself with someone who denies Jesus as Christ, God and Man

Which 2, Judeo and Christian, Judeo and civilization, Christian and civilization?

This clearly refers to the fact that Christianity is strongly rooted in Judaism. And that's not an opinion, it's a fact that all of the theologians I know of accept.

It's a widely used phrase that indicates the uncontested roots of our western civilization.

I think what you may be missing is that the Bible tells Christians that they are the grafted branch, meaning we are part of the same tree.

I believe that was Kirk's point, writing that, I would have said pretty much the same thing.

Because Christianity isn't a branch of Islam? JFC.

I know where you are coming from but these two religions are intertwined, very deeply.

Correct.

Often conflated are Talmudic jews and traditional jews who only regard the old testament (Torah). Neither believe Jesus was the messiah, of course. But ONE of those two believe he is boiling in human excrement, and also believe worse than barbaric stuff about every non-jew.

Also often conflated is antisemitic vs anti-zionism. Those are not the same. But jews in power intentionally conflate it.

They do... with the term "Abrahamic Religions".

This is b.s, and I don’t believe Charlie would have accepted this “award” if he was still here. Easy to give it to a dead guy who can’t decline the gesture.

Christianity is strongly rooted in Judaism, but so is Islam.

Islam and Judaism are more closely aligned in their beliefs and practices.

For example, neither accept Christ as a messiah.

Also, circumcision is a religious practice for both Judaism and Islam. Almost 100% of males from both of those religions are circumcised.

80% of Christian males are not circumcised.

It's very inaccurate and has morphed into this (suggested) unbreakable alliance between Israel and Christianity.
