LSU needs to consider diverting more money to basketball

It’s the one huge hole in LSU athletics.
Ostensibly, the other major sports programs are rolling in dough.
Is it really too much to ask baseball and football to take like a 2-4% paycut?
The thing about NIL for basketball is you only need 1 or 2 great players to turn around a program

baseball is already taking a backseat to basketball in revenue sharing.
just spending money alone doesn’t fix the issues.
HOW you spend the money a what matters.

The roster would be one of about 10 things they need to spend money or brain power on to increase the appeal of it and the success.
Everybody sees the old building, but how about the court that hasn’t been refreshed in 15 years? The bland uniforms? The fan experience? Everything is the same as it was in 2010.
No juice.

Take money from the best baseball program in the country, to give it to the basketball team that has never won shite?
Nah….
Basketball already gets more than baseball….

Men’s basketball gets a ton more money than baseball. Basketball needs to spend more wisely. fricking show us something before you start begging for money.

No, just SEC games.

We could divert some of the 9 Million a year that Women’s Basketball loses.

Baseball is the sport at the bottom of the revenue sharing totem pole. Baseball’s share needs to be increased.

Don’t give basketball anything until they get a coach that can win at the highest level.

But the Ladies pack the PMAc and it is rocking. The problem is not the building.
I do want the new arena though.

This. It’s all going to McWaste as long as he’s here.
I don’t really care about what brings in money, I care about what brings in championships.
LSU is the premier program in college baseball over the past 40 years and currently has the best coach in the game - feed the dominance.
