Learn how to zipper merge.
Zipper merge means pace traffic, not drive 70mph to the front of traffic slam your brakes then nose in bitching that people don't know how to merge.
If you pass more than 2 cars you are not pacing traffic and zipper merging correctly.

When you are driving down the interstate in the right lane doing 60, you should not be pulling over into the left lane to let incoming traffic merge….especially when you then block faster traffic if the left lane.
The point of the access lane is for vehicles to get up to speed so that they can merge with the flow of traffic.

You’re the guy that leaves the right lane to enter the entrance ramps/lanes and gets pissed someone who saw you do it blocks you from Zooming past traffic on the right, aren’t you?

Nope. Because you should have lane left in front of you. Unless you wait until the last minute to merge because you can't put your phone down.
That's what the dotted lines on the road tell you to do.

In Pensacola now and it baffles how many drivers try to merge from the I-110 onto I-10 immediately instead of just following the two merging lanes that are 3/4 of a mile long.
The few cars that actually just follow the lanes to the designed merge point usually end up 75 cars ahead.
Funny how opposite it is from Brooklyn where the chaos would occur from assholes trying to get around the others on the shoulder to the merge point first.
The one commonality is that when a lot of Americans see a merging point they panic.
