The Real Reason people hate Lane......

....they can't have him and so they vilify him
....Their coach does not recruit as well as him
.....Their coaches don't work as hard as him
......Their coaches can't develop QBs and amazing offenses like him
.......Their just freakin' jealous ( namely Ole Miss)

Saban was also pretty openly cheating paying the highest prices in the entire SEC. I was always OK with kids getting kickbacks, but they took it to an unprecedented level

They said we'd never get a good coach. They said we poor. We go get the hottest name out there and lay out a financial package for NIL. We get to the portal and just because he didn't sign players right away, people started taking their shots because they were so wrong before. Then the motherfricker goes and buys up players left and right. They can stand that LSU and Lane keep doing everything they said we couldn't.

Ole Miss fans hate him because they think Ole Miss is equal or better than LSU and can’t understand why Lane left them for LSU.
Other fans hate Lane because they didn’t want to see Lane paired up with a school like LSU because they know what’s about to go down.
