Of MU doesn't go a few goals up in the 1st half (so they can slow down and defend in the second) they'll be completely gassed by the 60th minute and MC will feast.

This one has the feeling that United will rue all these blown chances. Sloppy around the City box. City look poor at the back, and giving it away in midfield easily.

Fine margins on these offsides.

I thought that last one would be close because the city defender stuck his arm out.

Not at all. They were both clear to me live.

How is that not a red on Dalot?! VAR did their job and checked the badge, came up Utd, no red card.

Well on the lines they were close. That was my point. Closer than they appeared live.

And the one that looked the most off live was the one that probably wasn’t.

I expect pgmol or whoever to come out and admit var got the non red wrong. United playing with house money this match, but just keep messing up that final ball.

City will lose this match 0-1, giving up their usual counter.

I wouldn't be so sure. They have sucked when out of possession, but United are somehow even worse in the attacking third.

They've been battered. Lucky it isn't 3-0 with all the chances United have had.

As a referee, it seemed a certain red and as a United fan, I’d agree with it had it been given. The ONLY reason I can see it not be given is a lack of force in the challenge. But for me, it was a no doubt red. I‘d have been reaching for my back pocket.

ETA: VAR backed me up on this. Their official statement deemed the contact “glancing and not with excessive force.”
